Film: X-Men: Days of Future Past

GENRE: Action / Adventure

RUNTIME: 2 hours and 11 minutes
STARRING: Hugh Jackman (Wolverine, Les Miserables)
James McAvoy (Wanted), Jennifer Lawrence (Hunger Games)

WRITER: Simon Kinberg (Sherlock Holmes, Mr. & Mrs. Smith)
PLOT: Wolverine is sent to the past in order to change history and prevent the building of sentinel super soldiers.

FIVE OBSERVATIONS:
1 I went in thinking I was going to be confused by the plot but it was pretty easy to follow. It was an interesting storyline, I just seems more logical if they went further back in time instead of waiting until a couple of days before the pivotal event.
2 The scenes of Quicksilver breaking Magneto out was amazing. Best part of the movie. Great job by Evan Peters (American Horror Story).
3 Enjoyed watching McAvoy as a broken Professor X. I wish they gave Jennifer Lawrence a bit more dialogue in the film though.
4 Like JJ Abrams with Star Trek, Singer does a great job basically restarting the franchise. Loved all the cameos.
5 Interesting tease of X-Men: Apocalypse coming in 2016. Google it for more information, like I did.

RECOMMENDATION: Big screen fun.
UPCOMING REVIEWS: Edge of Tomorrow
