So, I love doing in depth looks at the Fall TV Season. I usually have graphics and descriptive content with tight formatting. Thanks to Covid, that’s all blown to hell. Networks are doing slow rollouts, streaming services are filling the gaps, and changes keep happening. So I thought I would just cover September 27 to October 31. Let’s keep it simple. Here’s what I’ll probably be watching this month. (The aqua titles have links attached.)
The
Simpsons (Sun.Sep.27) on FOX
It’s their 32nd
season. Have watched every episode so far. Why stop.
The Comey
Rule (Sun.Sep.27) on SHOWTIME
Jeff Daniels stars as
James Comey. It’s a sad account of politics.
Fargo
(Sun.Sep.27)
on FX
Chris Rock stars in Season
4 of this well scripted and acted anthology
Song
Exploder (Fri.Oct.2) on NETFLIX
Doc series of famous songs
broken down. Based on the popular podcast.

kicks off with Jim Carrey doing Joe Biden for a few weeks
The
Comedy Store (Sun.Oct.4) on SHOWTIME
A five part documentary
series about the famous stand-up comedy club.
Closer Look Thursday (Thu.Oct.8) on NBC
I guess instead of Primetime
SNL, Seth Meyers comments on the debates.
The Amazing Race (Wed.Oct.14) on CBS
Apparently finished
filming before the pandemic. Let the competition begin.
West Wing Special (Thu.Oct.15) on HBO MAX
A staged production of
Hartfield Landing episode to encourage voting.
Trial
of the Chicago 7 (Fri.Oct.16) on NETFLIX
Aaron Sorkin’s film on
this famous protesting trial.
My Next Guest Needs No Introduction (Wed.Oct.21)
on NETFLIX
David Letterman does in
depth interviews with some fascinating people
On
the Rocks (Fri.Oct.23) on APPLE TV
Sofia Coppola film with
Bill Murray. That’s all I need.
The
Undoing (Sun.Oct.25) on HBO
Nicole Kidman and Hugh
Grant in a David E Kelly limited series.
This Is Us (Tue.Oct.27) on NBC
Moved up from November,
the two hour season 5 premiere.
The
