2016 Emmy Predictions








The Emmys are this Sunday. I’ve added the limited series categories this year because I loved Fargo and The People v OJ Simpson.  For the Primetime Emmys predictions, it’s same as past years: I play to win but am happy if the one I want to win takes the statue. Here now are the fearless predictions:

Outstanding Drama Series
The Americans | Better Call Saul | Downton Abbey | Game of Thrones | Homeland | House of Cards | Mr. Robot
WILL WIN: Game of Thrones (unless Americans sways voters)
WANT TO WIN: Game of Thrones (such a strong season)

Outstanding Comedy Series

WILL WIN: Veep (The love is never-ending for this show)
WANT TO WIN: Silicon Valley (so awkwardly fun)

Outstanding Limited Series

WILL WIN: The People v OJ Simpson (surprisingly awesome)
WANT TO WIN: The People v OJ Simpson (Fargo was also amazing)

Outstanding Television Movie

WILL WIN: All the Way (Bryan Cranston does it again)
WANT TO WIN: All the Way (I like that it was based on the play)
