It’s September, so the fall television season is almost
upon us. This weekend, Boardwalk Empire’s final season kicks it all off. From
last year, five of my new series lasted and are returning (Brooklyn Nine-Nine,
Sleepy Hollow, Blacklist, Agents of SHIELD, About a Boy). This year’s crop does
not look that great, so I’ll only be giving a chance to five new shows. Here’s
