2015 Fall Movie Preview

So there really hasn’t been anything that good in the theatres for the past month or so. I’m looking forward to big blockbusters and Oscar-bait films of fall. It all starts next week. Here’s what I’m looking forward to:

The Walk (Sept 30)
Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt / Directed by Robert Zemeckis
A thrilling high-wire across the twin towers. Might scare me.

The Martian (Oct 2)
Starring Matt Damon / Directed by Ridley Scott
An astronaut is stuck on Mars, let the rescue begin.

Steve Jobs (Oct 9)
Starring Michael Fassbender / Written by Aaron Sorkin
I’m sure this one will kick the Kutcher version’s butt.

Bridge of Spies (Oct 16)
Starring Tom Hanks / Directed by Steven Spielberg
Hanks & Spielberg in a cold war drama? I’m in.

Spectre (Nov 6)
Starring Daniel Craig / Directed by Sam Mendes
More awesome Bond backstory.

Trumbo (Nov 6)
Starring Bryan Cranston / Directed by Jay Roach
An interesting story about blacklisted writers

Mockingjay, Part II (Nov 20)
Starring Jennifer Lawrence / Written by Danny Strong
Looking forward to the awesome conclusion

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Dec 18)
Starring Harrison Ford / Directed by JJ Abrams
Duh.

Joy (Dec 25)
Starring Jennifer Lawrence / Directed by David O Russell
Russell gets the band back together for another drama

The Hateful Eight (Dec 25)
Starring Kurt Russell / Directed by Quentin Tarantino
It’s Reservoir Dogs, western-style.

What are you looking forward to?
