Golden Globe 2010 Predictions

The Golden Globes are hard to predict. There are not that many people voting for this thing. The Hollywood Foreign press has less than 100 members. It’s like Family Feud. The Globes used to be considered a good predictor of the Oscars but lately they’ve been picking completely random people, just to see what they’re going to say. The two things I like most about the Golden Globes is that they try to honour comedies and because of the free alcohol, the winners are often a little tipsy. The added bonus this year is that Ricky Gervais is hosting (they haven’t had a host for years). He’s a funny guy. It’s gonna be a fun show. Here’s who I think will win and should win. Oh yeah, and I don’t do miniseries.

Enjoy reading your blog... as for the top 20 movies of the decade, I agree! I have seen 15 of them and thought they were all great. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
